Sajeve Thomas, MD
Dr Thomas is Director of Cutaneous & Connective Tissue Oncology, Advent Health Sajeve. He is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with over 13 years of experience. His expertise includes leading a cutaneous and sarcoma program, as well as serving as a clinical investigator in national and international trials. Dr. Thomas specializes in advanced immunotherapies including bispecific, viral oncolytics and cellular therapies and helped pioneer TIL and TCR-based treatments in Central Florida. He is committed to using innovative approaches to improve patient outcomes.

Shveta Gupta, MD, FAAP
Dr. Gupta is a pediatric hematologist and physician executive recognized for her leadership in rare bleeding disorders and women’s blood health. In her role as 2026 CAPI President, she leads more than 600 medical and dental professionals advancing healthcare excellence, community service, and cultural connection across Central Florida.
